Beverly I. Cox, 79, formerly of Beech Creek and Castanea, passed away at the Jersey Shore Manor Care Home on October 8, 2017. She was born on June 7, 1938 in Lock Haven to Arthur D. and Irene A. Phillips Cox.

Beverly had attended Beech Creek Elementary School and was a 1956 graduate of the Lock Haven High School. During her working career she had been employed by the Lock Haven Laundry, Bobbie Brooks and the Woolrich Woolen Mills. She enjoyed providing gifts to the younger relatives and enjoyed babysitting them along with her Mother. Beverly was of the Methodist Faith.

Beverly is survived by her brother Eugene A. Cox and Patricia B. Hart, one uncle and many cousins.

Private Funeral Services for Beverly I. Cox will be held at the convenience of the familiy in the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven with pastor Jay Jones of the Saint John’s- Newberry United Methodist Church officiating.

Interment will be in the Blanchard Christian Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Clinton County SPCA, 33 Mill Hill Road, Lock Haven, PA 17745 or the Saint John’s -Newberry United Methodist Church, 2101 Newberry St., Williamsport, PA 17701
