James William Gramley, age 64, died Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. He was born to the late William J. and Maud (Bridge) Gramley on April 30, 1952 in Lock Haven, PA.

Jim was a graduate of the Bald Eagle Nittany high school in 1971. Jim enjoyed hiking on rails to trails, spending time at the cabin, attending his grandsons sporting events. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and friends. Jim was a very kind and patient person who helped anyone in need. He was a very loving husband and father who will be forever loved and missed.

Jim was a member of the First Church of Christ in Lock Haven where he served on the church board as a deacon. Jim worked for several years at Piper Aircraft. He was a mechanic by trade. Jim was a manager for Kissell Equipment Center for 15 years in State College. He later worked at Penn’s Valley Supply in Spring Mills and was last employed at First Quality as a mechanic.

Jim will be missed by his loving wife of 44 years, Debra Joan (Engdahl), and his son Matthew James Gramley and his grandson Michael William Gramley of Lock Haven, his sisters Barbara (Larry) Bottorf, and Susan (Jack) Bottorf of Mill Hall.

Funeral services for James William Gramley will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Lock Haven First Church of Christ, 330 N. Vesper St., Lock Haven. Officiating will be Pastor Steve Salmon. Family and friends will be received in the church one hour prior to services .

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Lock Haven First Church of Christ.

Arrangements are under the directions of the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven.
