William J. Gramley Jr., 91 of 893 Lusk Run Rd. Mill Hall, PA. passed away Tuesday April 19 , 2011 at the Lock Haven Hospital ECU. He had been in declining health. He was born in Lock Haven, May 23, 1919 to the late William J. and Margaret Maughmer Gramley Sr. Mr Gramley was a veteran WW II having served from 1941 to 1945 with the US Army. He received two Purple Hearts during his time of service. On July 28, 1945 William was united in marriage to Maud Bridge, she survives. He was a member of the Lock Haven United Lutheran Church and had worked at Piper Aircraft for over 38 years retiring in 1985. Mr. Gramley had owned an operated Gramley Mower and Sales Service out of his residence for over 30 years. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather and will be very missed by his family and friends. Surviving in addition to his wife Maud is a son James W. (Debra) Gramley of Charlton, two daughters, Barbara Jean (Larry) Bottorf and Susan Jane (Jack) Bottorf both of Mill Hall, PA. Also a sister Margaret Fulger of Mill Hall, seven grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Graveside memorial services for William J. Gramley Jr. will be held on Friday April 22, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Dunnstown Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor W. Stevens Shipman of the Lock Haven United Lutheran Church. Memorials will be accepted to the Lock Haven United Lutheran Church through the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home 121 W. Main St. Lock Haven.Online condolences can be made at www.yost-gedonfuneralhome.com
