Ruth Esther (Beahm) Irvin, 77, of Beech Creek went home to be with her Lord on April 16, 2016. She was born in Spring Mills on June 21, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Victor and Orpha Bressler Beahm. Ruth graduated from Lock Haven High School in 1956. On June 21, 1957 she married Carl E. Irvin. She had worked at various companies as a telephone operator and had been very active with assisting her husband Skip with his logging business and had attended the Echo Hope Assembly and Beech Creek Wesleyan Churches.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Carl “Chic“ (Levina) of Palmerton and Timothy (Deborah) of Annville and two daughters, Rachel (Timothy) Weaver of Pine Grove and Tammie (Timothy) Winters of West Decatur. Also surviving are nine Grandchildren and seven Great Grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, the late Janet Beahm and two brothers, Bernarr and Virgil Beahm.

Funeral services for Ruth E. Irvin will be held on Thursday April 21, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Echo Hope Assembly Church 320 Hogan Blvd, Mill Hall, PA. Officiating will be Pastors Craig Cross and Alan Eckenroad. Family and friends will be received in the church Thursday morning from 9:00 am until the time of services. Interment will be in the Rest Haven Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials in Ruth’s name can be made to the Clinton County Gideon’s Bible, PO Box 29 Mill Hall, PA. 17751.

Ruth was the biggest Prayer Warrior I've ever known! It is the legacy she lived and has passed on to all of us. We will miss her, but certainly expect to see her smiling face again someday!

Skip, may God give you peace knowing that Ruthie is in God's loving care. We will miss seeing her Sunday evenings. You two were so much in love & it showed. May God carry you through these coming days.
