Donald A. Dunn, 90, of 131 Fleming Ave., Lock Haven passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017 at the Lock Haven Hospital. Born March 19, 1927 in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late Mary Englert and Lawrence Dunn.

He was a 1945 graduate of Lock Haven High School, B.S. degree from Temple University, and a M. Ed from the Pennsylvania State University. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.

Donald was a teacher at the Bordentown Military Institute, Bordentown, NJ and the Keystone Central School District, he retired in 1985. He was a member of the Flemington United Methodist Church.

He was a member of the Elks Lodge #182, Lafayette Lodge 199, Scottish Rite of Williamsport, Clinton County Sports Hall of Fame, and District Six Wrestling Hall of Fame.

Donald and Janice N. Dietz were united in marriage November 24, 1951 in Lock Haven

Surviving along with his wife are two daughters; Dawn Dunn (Rod) Datt and Diane Dunn (David) Pickel, and three grandchildren: Stephen Datt, Christine (Eric) Veres, and Emily (Doug) O’Neill

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Robert.

In keeping with Donald’s request, there will be no viewing and a private memorial service at the convenience of the family.

Services are under the direction of the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 121W. Main St. Lock Haven.

In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Flemington United Methodist Church stain glass window fund through the church.

Rest In Peace, Mr. Dunn. I'm glad I had you as a teacher, and enjoyed seeing you and Janice around town. The Dunn family is in my thoughts and prayers.
