Betty J. Bloom, 90, of Canal St., Flemington, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the Gatehouse Divine Hospital Hospice, in Williamsport. She was born July 3, 1928 in Lock Haven to Frank C. and Rebie Smith.

Betty was a member of the Lock Haven United Lutheran Church and had worked at the former Clinton Paper Company in Lock Haven, and had also worked a number of years at the Woolrich Woolen Mills, where she retired from. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include one son; Gary L. Shoemaker of Palmyra, PA, two grandchildren: Erik Shoemaker and Jennifer Shoemaker, two great grandsons; Damian and Logan Shoemaker, and a great great grandson; Hunter Shoemaker.

Betty was preceded in death by her first husband; Calvin Shoemaker and her second husband Richard N. Bloom. Two brothers; Harry J. and William Smith, and a granddaughter; Angela Shoemaker.

Funeral services for Betty J. Bloom will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 1:30 PM in the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Officiating will be Pastor Karl Runser of the United Lutheran Church. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home from noon until time of services.

Interment will be in the Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.
