Tina and family,

You have my deepest sympathy in the passing of Skip. We had some good times socially, and I have good memories of working with him a few times when he was chief of police. He was a good man, and he will be missed.

I am very sorry for your loss. I served with Skip on the Lancaster City Bureau of police. Skip was a great sergeant and one of what we younger guys called the old guard.

Tina and family - When I think of Skip it makes me smile. The laughing at camp while hearing and telling hunting tales. Sitting at the fire and just talking. Watching the excitement on his face when he finally got to move into his mountain "cabin". Always willing to answer my many law questions. He will be missed. Now he is with Big Jay, Uncle Dale and Grandpa retelling those stories!

My condolences to the family. I knew Skip through my association with the Pa. Chiefs of Police and Central Pa Chiefs. He was a dedicated career Police Officer who served well. He had a personality that always brightened up the room. I also salute his service as a Veteran of the Navy. Good bye my friend!

Tina, Shannon and family - Skip made time to connect after leaving Lancaster and always asked about my family, how officers were and prodded me to make good life decisions. He is surely making folks in heaven smile. Your family is in our prayers - Pete and Lizzette

Tina and Family, Stan and I were so sorry to learn of Skip's passing. He was a wonderful man and would give you the shirt off his back if needed. I recall memories of Skip when I was growing up in East Petersburg playing softball with him as my coach. Win or lose, he would take the team to Dairy Queen after a game to celebrate. Skip was always happy and had a huge smile on his face. I feel so fortunate to have known Skip and will miss him dearly.
