Paulette M. (Bumgarner) Schwab, 73, of Lock Haven passed away Friday, January 3, 2020 surrounded by the love of her family at her residence. She was wife of the late John W. Schwab who passed away October 3, 1972.

Born December 8, 1946 in Lock Haven she was the daughter of the late Dalton E. and Blanch (Young) Bumgarner. After graduating from Lock Haven High School class of 1964, she married John on December 25, 1966 and the couple shared almost six years of marriage together.

Paulette was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She spent many years working in food service, and retired as a cashier from Bentley Dining Hall at Lock Haven University. As an avid book collector, she loved to spend her time reading. She also enjoyed crocheting and taking care of the local stray cats and birds.

She is survived by her son, John W. Schwab II; three daughters, Rebecca Schwab of Lock Haven, Sheila Wagner and husband, Tom of Mill Hall, and Tracy Young and husband, John of Lock Haven; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Judy Bumgarner of Bristol. In addition to her parents and beloved husband, Paulette was preceded in death by one sister, Patty Santone.

Memorial services will be private at the convenience of the family. Yost- Gedon Funeral Home & Cremation Services LLC., 121 W. Main St. Lock Haven, PA. is in charge of arrangements.
