|First and foremost I want to express my condolences to Mr. Derr’s family.
It was just yesterday a co-worker and I were talking about the old Lock Haven and the stores. He mentioned Derr’s Stationary, I too had memories of going into the store with my mom. Seemed that Derr’s had anything needed from cards to paper products, in fact I think a trip to town always included a stop at Derr’s. Mr. Derr was always friendly and eager to help with what you needed.
While in our conversation of the memory of the store, I wondered if Mr. Derr was still living, my co-worker didn’t know and in fact knew his one daughter but hadn’t seen her for sometime either.
Again my condolences to his family, just wanted to share, what I call, a Godwink.

|I have fond memories of shopping at Derr's Stationery Store in downtown Lock Haven. Mr. Derr was always friendly and helpful and also had a good sense of humor. I was able to see him just a few times after he moved to Rose View Court in Williamsport and it was clear even then that he had a deep love for Lock Haven. I am sure he positively impacted many others as well.|

|I have such great memories of Derr's Stationery Store. To this day I love pens and paper. I was fortunate to know Dolly through Senior Circle and to play Bridge with her. My condolences go out to her and her family.|
