Robert E. (Bob) Kling, 89, of Lock Haven, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021 at his home. He was born in Lewisburg on March 31, 1932 to Donald and Lorraine Wetzel Kling.
Bob was united in marriage to Ann Roush on February 2, 1957 who survives at home. They celebrated 64 years of marriage earlier this year. He was a 1950 graduate of Lock Haven High School and a 1957 graduate of Williamsport Area Community College as an AP Mechanic. Bob also served with the United States Navy. He worked at the A&P and Piper Aircraft. Bob was a member of the Lock Haven Elks and the Clinton County Historical Society. His hobbies included metal detecting, going to flea markets, traveling, and being in the outdoors.
In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by two sons, Craig (Kim) Kling of State College, and Kurt (Karen) Kling of Williamsport; four grandchildren: Kristen (Matt) Frick, Cassandra (Dan) Holsinger, Christina (Mike) Jarrell, and Kyle (Liz) Kling; one great-granddaughter, Leighton Frick; and two great-grandsons, Cooper Kling and Sawyer Frick. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, sister Evelyn Kling Bosse, and brother-in-law Walter Bosse.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday October 8, 2021 at Yost-Gedon Funeral Home in Lock Haven followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Memorials in Robert’s name can be made to Heisey House Museum, 362 E. Water St., Lock Haven, Pa., 17745.
