Mary T. Warner, 82, of 85 Jay Street Mill Hall PA passed away Saturday, January 11, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born on August 20, 1937 in Alexandria, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Olifur and Mary Thelma Beatty. On October 1, 1955 she married Ellis Warner, with whom she shared over 64 years of marriage.

Mary graduated from George Washington High School in Alexandria then went to work at the Pentagon until she became a stay at home mom. Mary was preceded in death by her oldest child Clarke O. Warner in 2014. Mary also had two loving daughters, Sandra (David) Miller of Beech Creek, and Tina (Bill) Garbrick of Mill Hall. Nanny had eight grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren that adored her. Jackson (Heidi) Warner and their children Reese, Brooks, and Bristol, Ian (Erica) Warner and Griffin, Roger (Heather) Warner and Waylon all of Mill Hall. Brian Miller of Los Angeles, California, Emily (Tony) Sferlazza of Lamar, Connor Garbrick of Philadelphia, Johnna Garbrick, and Alex Garbrick of Mill Hall. Mary also had a very special sister, Joan Beavers, of Virginia Beach, VA.

Mary was a very kind-hearted mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved watching her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren at all their activities and events. She was very involved at her children’s school and enjoyed having the gathering place for all the neighborhood kids. She also loved going shopping with her daughters and loved watching her Soap Operas. In her younger years, she bowled in a local league for 25 years, enjoyed golfing, swimming, the beach, and shuffleboard.

Mary was a 35-year Exemplary member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. While in the sorority, she was named Valentine Queen, Girl of the Year, Order of the Rose, and Silver Circle honoree. Mary was also a member of the Eastern Star, a volunteer at the Lock Haven Hospital, and delivered Meals on Wheels.

Mary’s family has so many wonderful caregivers, doctors, and nurses to thank for all the amazing care they provided to her so we could keep her in her home.

There will be a private service and celebration of her life at the convenience of her family. Arrangements are being made by Yost Gedon Funeral Home & Cremation Services LLC., 121 W. Main St. Lock Haven, PA. 17745.
