Phillip A. (Peanut) Kling, age 71, of 11 King Arthur Drive, Mill Hall, PA passed away, April 30, 2009 at his residence.He was born in Lamar, August 16, 1937 and was the son of the late Merrill and Grace Fleisher Kling.Phillip had worked for Mermont, of Mill Hall and had retired from Jersey Shore Steel in 2000 after 31 years of service.He enjoyed camping at the Sunrise Campground, spending time with his grandchildren and socializing with his friends at the Hill Top Tavern.Phillip is survived by his wife, Alma M. Bauman Kling, whom he married July 22, 1967.Also surviviving are two sons, Allen M. Kling and Christopher M. Kling.Two grandchildren, Matthew A. and Zachary T. Kling.He is also survived by two brothers, Alton and Linn Kling.Four sisters, Ruth Sproul, Annie and her husband Merrill Tice, Phyllys Neff, Doris and her husband John Eiseman.Also, his extended family and friends, Jim and Sue Hoover, Clay and Matt Weigle and Troy Sassman. Peanut was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert (Ty), Max and Kimber Kling.One sister, Hazel Kling.Funeral services for Phillip A. Kling will be held on Monday May 4, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. in the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Wayne Hixon. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home Monday afternoon from 4:00 P.M. until the time of services at 7:00. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to defray funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home 121 W. Main St. Lock Haven, PA.
