This is so sad, so tragic. I didn't know Brian well, but he was a close friend of my brother Scot. Scot is battling some health issues and is hospitalized at this time. I have made him aware of Brian's passing, and he is heartbroken. Brian will be greatly missed, by Scot and I am sure many, many others. God bless you all.

Brian took his own desire for connection to his classmates and band mates and united us all.

His inclusive attitude and awareness of other’s circumstances made a wonderful event for us in 2014, and our next reunion will be in his honor.

Cheryl, LHHS Class of 1979

So sorry to hear of Brian's passing. Although we never meet, our mutual affection of militaria collecting led to many hours of on line chatting. His knowledge of the hobby was second to none. He will be missed by the community.

I depart as air, I shake my white locks at the runaway sun, I effuse my flesh in eddies, and drift in lacy jags. I bequeath myself to the dirt to grow from the grass I love, if you want me again look for me under your boot soles. You will hardly know who I am or what I mean, but I will be of good health to you nevertheless, And filter and fibre your blood. Failing to fetch me at first keep encouraged, Missing me one place search another, I stop somewhere waiting for you. -Walt Whitman-
