Kenneth M. Zener Jr., 94, of Center St., Lock Haven passed away Monday, March 16, 2020 in the Haven Skilled Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility where he had been a resident.   He was born in Indiana, PA on June 10, 1925 to Kenneth M. and Sarah K. Fleming Zener Sr.

Ken was a graduate of Lock Haven High School and a member of the Lock Haven United Lutheran Church.  He served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1943 to 1946 as PFC.   Kenneth was member of the LaFayette Lodge # 199, Scottish Rites in Williamsport, and Lock Haven Loyal Order of the Moose.

Ken had retired from Piper Aircraft in Lock Haven after 34 years of service.

He is survived by one brother; Gilbert Zener and two sisters; Nancy Crissinger and Greta Russo, many nieces and nephews.

Ken was preceded in death by his wife; Martha, a son; Russell R. Zener who preceded him in death July 22, 2019, a brother; Calvin Zener and a sister; Patricia Lachat.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Rest Haven Memorial Park. Officiating will be Pastor Karl Runser of the Lock Haven United Lutheran Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Lock Haven United Lutheran Church, 104 W. Church Street, Lock Haven, PA 17745 or Citizen’s Hose Company, 415 Bellefonte Ave., Lock Haven, PA 17745

Our deepest sympathies go out to Ken's family. We knew Martha Jean and Ken for many years. He was a very kind man and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
